The ranking promise
Every list in Bounty is ordered by Extra: what a bonus adds for you after what your cash would have earned where it is, and after fees. Never by what an offer pays us. Whether an offer earns us anything never changes its number, its place in a list, or whether you see it.
How we make money
Some offers may come with an affiliate or referral link that pays Bounty when you open the account. When one does, it says so right next to its button, and a plain link to the bank's own page sits beside it. Today, no offer in Bounty has one.
Share links
Your share link only tells us who sent whom. Nobody is paid for it, you or us.
Where the numbers come from
Offers are found through Doctor of Credit and checked against each bank's own page; every offer shows when it was last checked. What your cash earns now comes from your answer, or from the T-bill rate we show with its date when you skip the question.
Credit and banking records
Opening a bank account can add a ChexSystems or Early Warning inquiry, which banks see but your credit score doesn't. Applying for a card is usually a hard inquiry. Each offer says which, before you apply.
Taxes
Bank bonuses are usually reported as interest on a 1099-INT; brokerage bonuses often on a 1099-MISC. Bounty's numbers are before tax.
Not advice
Bounty is not financial, tax or legal advice. See the terms.
